Information we store
When you create or join a room, a guest identity is created and necessary session details are kept in your browser. The server stores nicknames, room memberships, submitted words, revealed history and minimal operational records. No email or phone number is required. A preference cookie remembers your selected language.
Who can see your words?
Answers remain hidden from other players until everyone submits. The service stores answers on a server; this is not end-to-end encryption. Operators and service providers may access information as needed to operate the service. Never enter passwords or sensitive personal information.
Retention and sharing
An idle lobby expires after 15 minutes; other inactive rooms expire after 30 minutes. A maintenance task can delete rooms at least seven days after expiry, but deletion depends on that task running. Shared images are generated in your browser and contain revealed answers only; no public game-history page is created.
Guest identity
Clearing your browser data or switching devices may prevent you from reclaiming your place. Guest accounts are not automatically removed when a room is deleted. Self-service account deletion and a contact channel are not yet available.
Anonymous page analytics
To improve the site we use cookie-free analytics for public pages. This may include visit time, public page path, referral source, browser or device type and approximate region. Private room links, invitations, player names and submitted words are not included in page analytics.
Security and technical services
We rely on necessary cloud hosting, storage, identity and security services. These providers may process limited data as required to deliver those functions. Short-lived IP-address hashes and request counts may help prevent abuse. Application logs are not deliberately populated with answers or login tokens.
